Plot summary

Disaster strikes in a small American farm town when teenager Cody Rose becomes the victim of a grain entrapment accident. As corn becomes quicksand inside of a 50-foot tall silo, the town locals must put aside their differences to save Cody from drowning in the crop they harvest.

Waste of grain, waste of time

These terrible hick farm types and the harm they cause. This is a story about systematic systems failure, in a world run by men more interested in their macho cred than safety, with plenty of appeals to the mysteries of God's plans.Folks... it's rubbish. Watch something else. I was recommended this sorry saga by IMDB, and I'll be questioning these in the future.The real story is how broken and morally bankrupt the US system of farm poverty and the ease with which people die from stupidity.Now to the movie, the shallow predictable characters that must pass for some weird notion of depth, just because they can't help but shout at each other.

Too easy of a movie, not to make

With a simple rope and pulley system, the young teenager, would be simply pulled up and out of the grain silo. The end. Doesn't get any easier than a rope and pully, to start and end the movie. Gee wiz, really.
