Plot summary

A woman (Lynn Whitfield) dying of kidney disease learns that God works in mysterious ways after convincing her son (Michael Jai White) to help a repentant ex-con (Byron Minns) whose unexpected presence prompts a startling deathbed confession.

LIFE ON LIFE'S TERMS

My watching of this movie was not a coincidence, but it was! This movie came on after another movie that I had been watching. At the age of 65 my adoptive family found me after casual DNA testing. The plot progression piqued my curiosity constantly. For me it clarifies why I must accept living life on life's terms. Thankfully for me this movie fortifies some of the assumptions That many of us contemplate over the course of our lives. The actor's portrayal of their characters was sincere and heartwarming. No spoiler alert from me, enjoy following the twists and the turns as they reveal themselves.

An amazing story about life and the power of faith, belief and forgiveness

"Somebody's Child" is a story we can all relate to, we have all had to make decisions in life that were painful, in some cases we felt were unforgivable, at the time we also felt we had no other choice. If you haven't, you haven't lived long enough. This story confirms that with faith, belief and the ability to forgive, we may be given a second chance, a chance to redeem ourselves. LOVE CONQUERS ALL! redemption is what we all want, a chance to be forgiven for what we consider a unforgivable act, a chance to make it right. I can't wait for the next movie by this creative writer, way to go Sid on your first Screenplay. We wish you much success, we will be cheering for you to WIN that EMMY, and Oscar, GOD BLESS.
