If the dictionary showed pics for the word awful, this is what would be in it

Sorry Ms. Jackson is a 2026 film that is, without exaggeration, a complete misfire in every aspect. From the opening scene, the acting is immediately grating. The child actors are unconvincing, and the titular character, Ms. Jackson, along with other adult roles, delivers lines with a lack of authenticity that makes it almost painful to watch. There's no subtlety, no nuance-just flat, forced delivery that completely undermines any attempt at storytelling or character development. The screenplay is equally problematic. It reads like a draft never meant for production: scenes feel disjointed, dialogue is clunky, and there is no clear sense of pacing or narrative direction. Moments that might have been tense, comedic, or emotional fall flat, leaving the viewer frustrated rather than engaged. The plot is scattered, with events that lack logic or meaningful progression, making the film feel endlessly long despite its brief runtime.Direction fails to provide any cohesion or vision. Shots linger awkwardly, and the editing creates a jarring flow that makes following the story unnecessarily difficult. Scenes abruptly end or cut in strange ways, further emphasizing the amateurish feel of the production. Lighting and cinematography are uninspired, leaving the visual palette dull and unremarkable.Even basic character motivation is poorly communicated. The actions of Ms. Jackson, her students, and supporting characters often feel arbitrary, resulting in a story that feels random rather than deliberate. The lack of tension, humor, or emotional engagement makes it impossible to care about any outcome or investment in the characters' journeys.Technically, the film shows little polish. Sound design is inconsistent, with dialogue often competing against itself or background noise, further compounding the unprofessional feel. Music, if present, does not enhance the scenes and instead feels like a generic filler. Every element works against immersion rather than enhancing it.Ultimately, Sorry Ms. Jackson is an unwatchable, poorly executed film that fails on every level: acting, writing, directing, and technical execution. It is a film that feels more like a cautionary tale in what not to do in filmmaking than entertainment. It is impossible to recommend, and viewers would be better off skipping it entirely.

Lover It

My kind of movie all the way. Was not a blockbuster but I appreciate real movies. Sick and tired of traditional Hollywood pads. It was kind if slow in the beginning but i'm glad I stayed with it. It came together for me and loved the plot. I appreciate producers that keep it real and release good movies.

There is a fair chance that you might fall asleep...

Needless to say that I had actually never even heard about this 2025 thriller titled "Sorry Ms. Jackson" prior to stumbling upon it by random chance here in 2026. And with it being a movie that I hadn't already seen, of course I opted to give the movie a fair chance.Writers Richard Davis and Ejay Jamison put together a pretty slow paced and sluggish script and storyline. It was not a particularly entertaining or enjoyable narrative. Halfway through the movie and nothing interesting had happened still, and that made it really, really difficult to maintain an interest in the narrative. Now, I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. Not that it was a bad thing. Not at all. It actually spoke in favor of the movie, as I do enjoy watching new and unfamiliar talents on the screen. The acting performances in the movie were fair. This is definitely not a movie that I would recommend anyone to sit down and spend 81 minutes on watching. Nor is it a movie that will ever get a second viewing from me.My rating of director Ejay Jamison's 2025 thriller "Sorry Ms. Jackson" lands on a very, very generous two out of ten stars.
