Plot summary

Young police chief Sandra Mohr returns to her hometown of Graz with a bad feeling. Together with her new boss, Sascha Bergmann, she is tasked with solving the death of a journalist who was planning to write an article on abuse of office and nepotism.

A Crime in Styria

A Crime in StyriaA crime telefilm, produced by Austrian television and set in the state of Styria, a the central-west region of Austria, whose capital is the city of Graz.A journalist turns up dead in her car, in an apparent accident. But the accident quickly appears to be an homicide, with suspicions focusing on the local burgomaster, whom the journalist was investigating, on suspicion of corruption.It is a classic detective story, one of those that keep the suspense about what really happened almost until the end, nicely written, directed and performed but with nothing special to add to the genre.

Nice surprise

Good movie about two detectives who go to Sturm to solve a murder. The female police officer family may have something to do with the case? Is this a familiar drama up to a certain point? Does all the evidence point to the mister Major with the elections to come? Is the local law enforcers doing their best to solve the mistery? This is a nice story with no loose ends, fast paced and with some strange humour in certain points. Some social criticism linked to machism is also depicted as the plot unfolds. No graphic violence, no action, but entertaining thriller.
