Good idea for a movie!

I would say due to unknown actors and a lower budget this has slipped under the radar!Given more known actors and a bigger budget this would have gone further!Suspense was good throughout and kept you interested to see where the mystery was going for the first half, when things unravelled it's all went a little downhill!Not a bad watch, just one of those movies that makes you wonder where you would have taken the end, which isn't a bad thing!Not bad acting from the actors used but the dialogue was a little more poor!To be more believable they could have picked a younger actress for the main character, the one used is easily in her 20,s and she probably needed to look around 16 for the story to work.

Stronghold Does A Lot with A Little

Certain movies entertain you because they're full of special effects, elaborate set pieces, and superstars in every frame. Enormous budgets will overcome almost anything. There are, however, some things money cannot be, even in Hollywood. And for those certain qualities that aren't for sale, we turn to movies like Stronghold.This film accomplished so much with so few ingredients, because they were all put together just right. The story was outlandish, but still believable. The sets were realistic. And the acting pushed everything right over the top, being the centerpiece of this film.Stronghold was a showcase of its actors, plain and simple. They're the reason I believed every moment. It's a popcorn movie for sure.

Very interesting film

I liked the film a lot. I really admire the dynamic performance of the mom - her portrayal of various emotions adds so much depth to the film. Love the chemistry between the mom and Daugter and the daughters character evolution in the film. All the characters unfold like an onion. Just when you think you know what's going on you find out you don't. I also appreciated the story's gradual build-up of suspense, which kept me hooked, and those subtle moments throughout are truly priceless. The post-apocalyptic world's cinematic atmosphere, coupled with the meticulous interior set design, made each scene interesting to watch. And they brought it home with that unexpected twist at the end - it added an exciting element to the narrative. If you're a fan of psychological thrillers / psychological dramas, I highly recommend Stronghold. Make sure to watch it with no distractions for the full experience!
