Plot summary

Emma has built a successful lifestyle website that she puts her heart and soul into called “Classically Emma”. But when her numbers start trending down, she thinks she might’ve found her fix in a partnership with an ambitious millennial named Jill who has her own dreams.

Get through the set up and it's so relaxing

I'm a big fan of these calm, small-scene, pandemic-filmed movies, and this is probably the most chilled-out storyline I've ever seen. The main setting s so peaceful and the product-making is so relaxing the production team could have set up a real-life store and soothed the world. Having two generations really balances out and emphasises the fresh versus familiar/comfort angle, we all need a bit of both, no matter what stage of life. The characters are great - no ulterior motives, just all finding their ways in changing situations, like the rest of us. I love that there's very little upbeat music - makes the movie perfect for going to sleep to at night on re-watches.

LOVED THIS MOVIE!

I loved this movie! The male lead, Jonathan Stoddard, did an excellent acting job, and I find his voice to be very soothing. The female lead did a pretty good acting job, but I really thought the actress who played the male lead's sister did even better. This movie was lighthearted and very romantic. The storyline of a lifestyle expert wanting to improve the numbers on her website by joining in a partnership with a "down-home" lavender growing expert was different and more "in tune" with entrepreneurial partnerships that develop in today's modern way of doing business. If you give this movie a chance, I think you will enjoy it, too.

LOST INTEREST 20 mins in.

Oh dear, lavender is good for sleeping, but in the absence of it, then just watch the film. So slow to the point of who cares ? The character Jill was too gushing in her first appearance, - irritatingly so, and the actress playing her was ott in her delivery.The two leads were not helped with the long, drawn out and inane script, and so cheesy in parts. The acting was wooden, you could almost hear the Director shout "action" as they slowly appeared walking around a corner. This story might have been suitable for an amateur drama group, but it was painful to sit through a 2 hour fil. With ads.
