Could've been a contender

There's a core of a compelling story here, but it gets lost in the poor writing. The acting, however, is quite good, particularly from Carol and Rick.The beginning, especially, seems quite chaotic with the cameraman in the back of the Cadillac swinging his lens all over the place, not sure what to focus on LOLOther than that, there's a fairly coherent tale here: two girls decide to ruin a guy's life with their... ahem, feminine charms.But it loses some of its heat, especially when a scene that STARTS to show how the guy's career is suffering never gets a conclusion.And then while Carol certainly has her motivations explained quite well, poor old Judy just seems to be along for the ride, the movie never once bothering to explain how she got into the situation in the first place (other than the odd bit where her parents took her to a doctor because "she was going to marry a Lebanese guy" wut?).As if that weren't all bad enough, the male protagonist does a complete volta face at the very end with NO explanation whatsoever. Why???? Totally unnecessary.Thus, I'd say 90% of this movie is a truly engaging watch, but all the tension goes swirling down the drain because those key elements were botched. If I could cut and edit this film myself using only existing footage, it'd be a LOT better film.Alas...
