All Cringe, No Connection

The movie leans heavily into cringe territory, first because of the female protagonist's acting and second due to the poorly written dialogues. The intimate scenes felt exaggerated. While many erotic films manage to balance sensuality with romance and a storyline, this one falls short. I couldn't connect with the main characters or their relationship at all. Judith summed it up perfectly toward the end when she said she doesn't even know what went wrong between her and Eric, just like the audience.

Cheap parody on 50 shades of Grey

If anyone ever asked me what cinematic disaster looks like, I would point to this so-called "piece of art. An obvious plot that hits you in the face from the very first minute, and "actors" who would be much better suited for a different "genre". It feels like the screenwriter of this filmic abomination was paid with a bottle of cheap port wine - which also served as his main source of inspiration. The era of films like this with such plot and message has, in my opinion, long since passed. But the creators seem blissfully unaware of that, just as they are of even the most basic sense of taste.
