Familiar Emotions, But Missing the Spark

Tere Ishk Mein clearly aims for the emotional space once occupied by Raanjhanaa, but it never quite reaches that level of impact. The film follows a familiar theme of intense, one-sided love and longing, and while the intent is sincere, the execution feels forced at times.The first half is reasonably engaging and keeps things moving, but the second half loses grip and struggles to maintain emotional momentum. It tries hard to recreate iconic feelings, yet ends up feeling predictable rather than powerful. The music works in parts - the title track and Awaara Angara stand out - but even the songs can't fully lift the narrative.Overall, it's not a bad film, just an average one that feels like a weaker echo of something done better before. A decent one-time watch, but not particularly memorable.

Good movie, weak ending

Less toxic and more manipulative kind of movie with hapazzard ending

I still think Dhanush was way better in Ranjhana than in any hindi movie he has done so far and I don't know how many will agree but Dhanush and Kriti didn't suited much compared to Dhanush with Sara and Sonam . Even Sonam height is also tall like Kriti but still they does look good because both being too slim and somewhat they matched .Coming to this film, this film is like Ranjhana , In Ranjhana Kundan Blackmailed Zoya to be with him at first although Zoya used to like him at first , later Zoya used him for her own interest repeatedly and make the caste thing a issue despite knowing that Kundan loves her .Kundan got angry when he got to know the truth and out of anger he did something for which Jasjit lost his life . He later repeal for that a lot .I don't know In Ranjhana I just felt both of them were wrong . Just becoz Kundan hasn't moved on its not the fault of Zoya but Zoya has used him and lied to him for her own interest and yet played the victim card . Although getting used by Zoya was the choice by Kundan .In this film too Mukti was not in love with Shankar and she has cleared this from the beginning but Shankar falls for her , Mukti tried to fix him but while doing this she create more problem for him and gave him false expectations and finally his father died for which Mukti goes into guilt and destroyed her own life . I liked this part where Shankar has gone into Airforce but just like Kundan he finally gave up his life too .But among this two films Tere ishq mein seems to be less toxic but more kind of heartbreak stuffs and also the biggest the music part is missing and somehow this jodi didn't hit and most of the time Kriti Sanon looks like she is lost , acting wise it's avg from Dhanush side too . Confused between when the leads fall for each other or even not like Mukti expressions are so confusing . I like her Myntra and Savana Sweaters although . Same in the film Atrangi Re I got confused between when the characters fall for each other . Among all the 3 films , Ranjhana is the most organized one with good music aesthetic vibes , good flow .
