Plot summary

The year is 2087, the setting is the moon. Pluto Nash, the high-flying successful owner of the hottest nightclub in the universe, finds himself in trouble when he refuses to sell his club to lunar gangster Mogan, who just happens to be helping the mysterious Rex Crater mastermind a plan to take over the entire moon.

Great fun

I've seen this movie twice within a few days, and I might see it one more time before this week ends... Sure, Eddie Murphy doesn't play tons of roles as usual, but he's great... as are all actors in this movie... specially the Bruno character is very funny! The story of this movie might not be the best story ever, but it's still interesting, but it's the comedy this movie's all about! The box-art looks very cheap, but the effects in this movie is well done, doesn't look cheap at all..!

I have seen worse

I just saw this movie for the first time on TV. and it I did find it as bad as the box office made it out to be.Now don't get me wrong, this was far from the best movie. One thing I would like to say is that just in resent times (the last 4 month (date Nov, 27, 2005)) I can name 2 movies that were worse BY FAR!! Stealth and JarHead have to be 2 of the worse movies that I have ever seen. Anyways, I do see some of the points that people have made about this movie. I grew up in the 70's and 80's and like some one said this would have been a better success then. My main point is if I were to judge this move on the basis of the movies I have seen in the last year or so I would have given it a 8 out of 10.
