Plot summary

The Halloween ban is now lifted in Helen's Valley, and the sorority girls of Gamma Tau Psi place Michelle in charge of their annual haunted house. Unfortunately for Michelle some uninvited trick or treaters from her past come knocking.

So bad

I watched "The Barn:Part II" only because the current rating was 5.8 with the majority of the few reviews high and enthusiastic. That, and because Linnea Quigley was in it.What an incredible disappointment. Now, I realize Linnea isn't the scream queen hottie of her youth, but here she is cast as an old nutcase who hates Halloween. Frankly I didn't recognize her and that in itself was upsetting. Then they threw in Doug Bradley-PINHEAD-as an uninteresting old codger who tells scary stories. Add Troma's Lloyd Kauffman and Joe Bob Briggs and there's your star power.The acting is awful, the special effects are absolutely embarrassing and the whole, predictable mess is just stupid. Apparently some people found humor in this, but I guess I'm just too old to appreciate what they were shooting for.I only gave this a 3 out of respect for Quigley and Bradley...although I must express my sadness at their participation. I'm sure they had their reasons. I didn't even want to spend the energy to write this, but felt a less enthusiastic review was needed for balance.

If you like horror you may be into this

This movie kills children!And it's awesome!!Personally, I think more kids should be brutally killed by crazed psycho demon killers. So, if you like that sort of horror you will like this. There is, of course, some very bad acting and other hallmarks of B horror, but there are also a slew of horror scene people in this too.I cannot stress enough that this movie requires you to like horror as your favorite genre and enjoy watching B horror movies for fun if you are to enjoy this or the first Barn movie.As far as horror movie sequels go, there are absolutely more nonsensical horror movie sequels out there.
