My Third Viewing Of A Jamie Grefe Project

I'm halfway through the movies that I decided to watch of Mr. Grefe's and they are only getting worse...since I figured that it would bottom out at around this time.I felt really bad for Hannah Webb and Anna Bukhareva. One of them (forgot which one) ended up being groped by the director in a scene that did nothing to the story, and could have easily been avoided. Mr. Grefe decides to wear his rubber mask (worn in other movies of his) as well as dresses up as another character also from another movie he had made. It makes you wonder just what is Jamie Grefe's motives when making these projects of his. It also makes you think as to why these two young ladies wanted to be in this film. Especially since this is going to be seen by an extremely low amount of people and won't help them much for their acting careers.The audio continues to be weak quality, and will probably never improve. The cinematography is also the same as before. Just about average in quality. The plot tries to have you care about the characters, or give an interesting story to tell...but it doesn't achieve anything, other than wasting 66 minutes of your time.The bizarre double exposure style from the other film that I watched (Torment of the Witch) continues here, but we're also tortured with quick cuts of a woman during some scenes. Other annoyances that are plagued within this hidden fetish/kink-fest of Mr. Grefe's would be the following. Having women (both of those in the cast) writhing around while clothed and breathing heavy. Imagine them pleasuring themselves but they are not, although their sounds/breathing/body motions would indicate it. This has to be the direction given by Mr. Grefe to make the scenes how he wants them. A personal choice, since the plot in the story doesn't require the amount of perversity that is filmed.Then you have scenes where a woman is literally giving their "O" face (touching/rubbing themselves) while another woman has a plastic toy centipede on their body. Yeah, the centipede that is the center of the story (and the focus of the title) is a cheap looking dollar general toy.It would appear that Jamie Grefe is a similar movie maker as Donald Farmer. Someone who clearly has fetishes/kinks and wants to have them made into movies with women of their choosing to act for his delight. It has nothing to do about the story. It's all about the perversions and how many can fit in the script. I was told that Mr. Grefe would make Donald Farmer seem as competent as Ed Wood Jr. So far they are looking to be correct.

Right, well a movie that is written by, directed by and starring the one and the same guy tends to be questionable affairs. And guess what, "The Centipede Strangler" turned out to be written by, directed by and starring Jamie Grefe. So yeah, the movie isn't off to a stellar start. But I still opted to watch this 2025 thriller, solely because it was a movie that I hadn't already seen, nor ever actually heard about. And I do believe in giving all movies a fair chance.And the fact that the movie had landed a phenomenal 2.6 rating here on IMDb, as of the very moment I sat down to watch it, well that didn't bode well either.The storyline in the movie was so insanely laughable and poorly written. It felt like it was one of the first attempts of having AI write a script, because it was so bad. I can't claim that I am in any way impressed with the writing talent of Jamie Grefe.The movie has a very small cast ensemble, and thus there was a lot of pressure riding on the performers to carry the movie well with their acting performances. Well, in all honesty, they failed to do just that. The acting performances in the movie were questionable.The sound in the movie was pretty bad, and didn't do anything in favor of the already severely struggling movie.Do yourself a favor and don't waste 66 minutes of your life on this rubbish. Some of us literally suffered through this travesty of a movie, so you don't have to; you're quite welcome.My rating of writer and director Jamie Grefe's 2025 movie "The Centipede Strangler" lands on a one out of ten stars.
