Plot summary

Director Yuri Ancarani crosses the Persian Gulf to accompany a falconer to an important competition, entering the surreal world of wealthy Qatari sheikhs with a passion for amateur falconry. The opulence of this Middle Eastern gas state is on full display as the men race SUVs up and down sand dunes, fly their prized falcons around on private jets, and take their pet cheetahs out for desert spins in their souped-up Ferraris.

hedonistic storytelling

Regardless how I might personally feel about over consumption, hedonism, and the glory of obsessive compulsive spending...that is meaningless self imposed opinion. As a documentary the film is well executed, well-authored and exposes the unconscious pleasures in exotic pets. I wish that had been some history to contextulise the facination with falcons. Needless it is a well produced well told story.

Problem

Have some trouble to find this movie. Unfortunately, Google Movies and Amazon Prime do not offer me choice of shopping this movie in my region? Cannot find this movie in Netflix as well? I am wondering why?
