My title does not refer to the uniform issues but to the mayor of Bridgeport, the opposing town, who ordered the fire chief to shut down the sergeant's welcome home party in the other mayor's home. Sounds like a call to local news outlets would be appropriate. Not to mention posting on social media. I've seen far less insult go viral.I expected a horrible movie with silly antics in the competition. Through 3/4ths of the movie, the only silliness is the Bridgeport mayor's manipulation. Much of that earlier portion is building the relationship between Kelly and Quinn. The actors have some chemistry but not great.The obstacle is one of the most common for Christmas movies. I expected the resolution also to be the most common.I won't name her, but the child actor is bad at her role. She yells many of her lines.Hallmark has made it a running gag to have a cameo by one or more of their veteran actors. Kavan Smith and Pascale Hutton fill that role and have an exchange of lines about it having been 100 years since they last saw each other. They both have prominent roles in WCtH which is set about 100 years ago.The finale of the Christmas Cup contest is way to sappy. I usually like a little sap, but this was too much.

The Uniform is so far from a proper Military, let alone US Marine Corps uniform that I had to leave the room until she changed. Stripes - WRONG, wrong uniform pants, No tie with jacket, wrong jacket, and the cover had no USMC emblem. Please, Please, Please represent and honor our veterans with the proper attire!

Disrespectful to Veterans

Sure it's a typical cute Hallmark movie. But... these terrible mistakes on uniforms and terminology are disrespectful to veterans and active duty personnel. An Army sergeant insignia on a Marine Corps Uniform, placed upside down and then called staff sergeant were awful. There were many more but I won't go on.I enjoy Hallmark movies but this one I just couldn't watch.
