Plot summary

A girl is possessed by a dark and mysterious entity. She will fight with all the elements at her disposal to get rid of it. Neither her mother, nor traditional medicine, nor a supposed expert in exorcisms, will be able to make the demon disappear, until a nun gets involved in the case and sows a doubt more terrible than the possession itself.

Enjoyable Possession Movie

While The Containment does have some of the most common Hollywood exorcism tropes dutifully baked into the film, it's not all pea soup and impossible head-spinning.Frankly, the film is interesting in its concept and fairly well-acted.In short, I was pleasantly surprised and would watch it again with friends to see how they process the ending.

Possession-movie with no spirit

It is strange to say that there is no spirit to it, but this movie simply does not engage, or build tension that lets you stay invested. It is a pretty movie, it has a budget to its cinematography, but it does not translate into the movie being very scary, driving, or even not boring. I would not recommend this.
