Good for all ages free of adult language or themes. Not overly exciting or scary though there are some light jump scares that invoke laughter more often than fear.

I thought this would be more of a cute movie about a dog, but even though the dog "talked" the plot was pretty horrible and the movie did not make much sense. The attitude of the husband was ridiculous. He checks out other women in front of his wife, is only happy when his wife and children aren't around, and hires the men who broke into his house to break into the neighbors house because he thinks the neighbor is up to no good. Not only does he completely avoid any punishment at the end, but he doesn't even show any remorse. The dog does not save Halloween. The dog saves him when he and the guys he hired get trapped in the neighbors house. I was looking for a movie similar to spooky buddies.
