Plot summary

In the 18th Century, John Cavendish, a Scottish adventurer, arrives in Tuscany and makes his fortune from his expert knowledge of botany and agriculture. In the present day, Marcus Cavendish, an American painter and playboy with mounting debts, receives a letter from Chiara Conti, an Italian solicitor, who reveals to him that he is of the Cavendish blood line. She tells him that he is the heir of Peter Cavendish, the last descendant of John Cavendish. Believing that this potential fortune may solve his money problems - and may even sort his head out - Marcus travels to Tuscany to get his inheritance. Having arrived at Cavendish Castle, Marcus thinks he has solved all of his problems, but discovers that he has to fight an ancient evil that has tormented his family for centuries, so he realizes that money, property and land mean little when faced with a blood curse as a surprise inheritance.

Low budget gothic horror

With more money behind it, the end product could've been quite good. The plot itself was fine for a b/c grade horror. If I was reading this in print as a book I would've rated it 8 or so out of 10.Acting isn't great and the effects sub par but then again that's what you get on a shoestring budget. Ignore that and focus on the story and it's an okay film.

Very low budget but ok story

This is a movie made with a budget of half a potato and it can be seen. The special effects are ridiculously bad. Acting is really bad and what's worse is the actors/actresses can't speak english - and I doupt the person who wrote this can either. Sounds are mostly ok but the music choices are a bit strange imo, but I guess it goes with the potato budget.The best thing in this movie is the story. It just manages the keep you watching even with all the horrible acting everywhere. The castle they filmed this in looks nice too.

Worst Ending in a film ever

Started watch this film and thought it was great. Quite suspenseful and good story. Acting was ok but special effects poor. However acting made up for it. It struck more like a murder mystery with a bit or supernatural thrown in. For 1 hours and 30 minutes I was really enjoying the film. Then we come to the explanation of what was happening and the end of the film. I seriously suggest you watch this film just to see the ending. I have watched alot of horrors and this has to be the worst ending I have ever seen
