Plot summary

A film about Rikard, age 30. He is autistic and severely disfigured. He lives in a home for disabled people. He was separated from his mother as a three-year-old, and this continues to torment him today. To deal with life's trials, Rikard escapes into a fantasy world in which he's a 50-meter-tall giant.

A special, deep and heavy film

I always like to explore unique and experimental films in my homecountry Sweden, so i was intrigued by what Johannes Nyholm debut would look like!I saw his work of "Koko-di koko-da (2019)" and i had extremely mixed thoughts about that unique and special movie. Somehow i liked it and in some way it was pretty bad and difficult to understand.So didnt knew what to expect with this really.Directly you feel early that this is a very thought provoking film. You will notice this also is very unique and special film by Nyholm.No one can deny the amazing performance of the main character, Christian Andrén, which does a fantastic and genuine performance that feels very real.Many other actors does also great performances!Manuscript is pretty good aswell actually, although abit boring sometimes.Filming and soundtrack is really good!Very well directed!Definitely worth watching! I really recommend it! A film with a big and important message! A special, deep and heavy film!

Boring, awkward, inconsistent.

Worst most boring and disturbing film I've ever seen. Don't waste your time watching it, it's over before it even started with nothing happening to maintain the viewers attention. I got the feeling of watching a school theatre project, the quality is no better than that. The producer seems to have just thrown a bunch of ideas without sorting through what's good or not. Frankly, it's a very weird film. If you're a film critic you might enjoy the experience but it's definitely not something you sit down and watch with your family a cosy Friday evening. Entertaining = 0 %.
