Plot summary

Meet big-time crime boss Val Fagan, the leader of a brutal, cold-blooded gang who run the streets of Dublin. After a major armed robbery gets national attention, Val and his gang become the main targets of the Garda detectives - who will go to any length to disrupt his operation and bring him down.

"Do you think...

Anyone remembers Love/Hate?""Nah, that was years ago""Great, let's just rip it off"And from the opening credits on that's pretty much exactly what they did.Anyone who's watched the excellent Love/Hate will, right from the start, be able to identify where each set piece comes from. Okay, they've mixed a few bits up, rearranged the deckchairs if you will, but almost everything is lifted straight from Stuart Carolan's work.Now, okay, I guess there was always going to be some sort of overlap given the subject matter, however The Irish Mob goes that extra mile.The production quality is reasonable, the acting pretty much what you'd expect, however it's the lazy story that really knocks it down the rankings.

Was a great watch

I found this very entertaining, for a low budget project I think it punched way above some other things that have multi million dollar budgets. Cast were great up and comers and the two leads are ones to look out for in the future. And very current with the modern Dublin scene. My one fault with film maybe a bit short but it is fast paced so maybe that helps. Great scenic views of Dublin at night and catchy music all help to drive this along. Storyline is easy to follow but a few twists here and there especially the ending makes it an enjoyable view.Overall I was very satisfied and this film is worth a watch.

Don't bother

Well ,where do I start, heard and saw a rating of 5.3, so though it's worth watching.My mistake, must be the worse acting I have seen, the worse stunt I have every seen, every punch thrown, is slow and can clearly se. A miss with no contact, laughable if iam honest, it comes across as a B movie.But after watching, to see if it got better, which it did not, and the over continuous rolling commentary was not needed, although informative it spoilt the flow.Good side, if iam honest, was difficult to find one, just my honest opinion, will after this read other reviews left to see if any are in agreement, though best to write before, so not to guide me into the wrong review.
