Thank you to the starlings!

A truly beautiful film. It's always impressive to discover other talents actors possess, and they demonstrate them eloquently in this film. The transformation of Frédéric Pierrot's facial expression throughout the story is remarkable. It was daring to create a musical film based essentially on only four movements, and this gamble paid off.

This is a really really amazing piece of cinema i watch a lot of films and a lot of series and a lot of them are so unintelligent this is really high art this is a film that would suit anybody who loves music but equally anybody involved in the creative process would it be writing music-making painting filmmaking any process which has to do with creativityit is clever all the way through it is really an insight into the way works of art are made and the pitfalls and the problems which occur when this process is going onthe acting here is very good the music used for the film is excellent all the way through although it is clever and artistic it is not up itself it is very accessible i would be surprised if this film did not become a cult movie appreciated by many people around the world Totally recommend it.

A Truly Special, Human, and Magical Experience

This is without a doubt one of the best films I've seen in the last five or six years. I walked out of the theater with that rare, amazing sensation of having just experienced something truly special and deeply human."The Musicians" isn't built on a complex plot; in fact, its magic lies in its simplicity. The story is straightforward, allowing the real heart of the film-the music and the people-to shine. The direction and editing are perfectly in tune with this, creating a simple, elegant film that just... works.I was completely moved by the music, which is more than just a background element; it's the main character. But what truly makes the film soar is the incredible "click" and chemistry between the four main actors. Their interactions felt so genuine and electric.I found myself wondering if they were actual musicians by profession, as I'd never seen them before and their connection to the music and their instruments felt so authentic. Their performances are incredible, capturing all the friction and harmony of a real quartet. This is a film that engages all the senses, but especially your hearing. It's a beautiful, straightforward story that proves you don't need complicated effects to create movie magic. A must-see.
