Plot summary

In Chinatown, law and order is turned upside down when a trio of feral Chinese gangsters arrive, start terrorizing civilians, and usurping territory. The beleaguered local gangsters team up with the police, lead by the badass loose cannon Ma Seok-do, to bring them down. Based on a true story.

Fascinating Korean Procedural

The story is built around the sturdy main character accompanied by graphic violence and dry wit. Based on a true event, the film is action-packed but never over-the-top. The final showdown is one of the most enjoyable come-uppances I have seen. I don't know why, but it was very satisfying.This is a well-made, tight Korean cop thriller that I would definitely recommend.
