This film is extrmemly moving and sad, shedding a light on the life of Rutka in Poland and the terrible end she met through the cruelty of the nazis. Throughout the movie, I was amazed by the incredible writing of the young 14 year old Rutka and most adults would be unable to write so beautifully. Beautiful but utterly heartbreaking.

A tiny but incredibly powerful representation of Nazi's barbarism toward Jews in Poland, revealed through a stunningly beautiful and brilliant young Jewish girl forced to witness atrocities no one her age should be aware of in such detail, let alone see. This is Rutka Laskier's brief and heartbreaking account of the three months leading up to her deportation to Auschwitz. As abhorrent as it is to think about it's vitally important that personal accounts of the Holocaust are documented and passed down throughout generations so that we never forget. In my opinion this is a story that should be known to everyone.
