Couldn't Have Been Worse If They Tried

Literally nothing is done right in this movie except for the fact that it was completed and published. The acting, sound, racing, all of it is uninspired, unconvincing, and completely devoid of any redeeming qualities (except for the Evan Posocco cameo). The concept itself isn't inherently that bad but there's a pretty good reason why Gran Turismo succeeded when this didn't- effort and heart.

Booty Burns baby Booty Burns !!

Where to start.... Lets say if you take a racing car video game and then screen shot a load of clips then you get some actors to fit around them clips you basically have Sim Racer.

Unfortunately your not allowed to use the sound from the game ( i presume ) so you just have a generic car sound and ignore things like crashes abd screeching tyres and stuff like that.

Anyway our hero driver must get the best damn driving simulation Crew chief ever....... 'Bootie Burns' to help him win 20k in a competition. Back in his day he wrote the rules on driving simulations ( probably during the NES days by the looks of him ).

Theres only one problem in his way is 'Shooter' Jones the best damn driving simulator gamer ever and no he isn't in his teens.

Not only must he win the race for the money ( which he owes straight back out ) but also the girl he met, his friend who works at the bar and to impress the hundreds of teenagers watching on twitch.

Ill be honest its awful but Ill give it a 2 or 3 as some of the actors were ok and performed with utter seriousness.

To say Bootie Burns without a flicker of sarcasm takes some serious acting.

Great introduction to Sim Racing!!!

Comedy, drama, suspense and everything you could ask for in a film. Great script, wonderful acting and creative storyline! A true gem of a film and a great introduction to the world of sim racing films. For anyone who enjoys sim racing or racing in general I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you take in this film. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! From the opening scene, through the development of the story and through the climax and conclusion of the film you will be hooked and deeply entertained. The writer, producer and director (Brock Drury) shows his talent for film making in his feature film debut. THIS IS A FILM THE ENTIRE FAMILY CAN ENJOY TOGETHER!
