And the point was...?

Generally I like independent films which take a chance, which push the cinematic envelope in some way. I'm also fine with films made on a limited budget, as one has to appreciate the directorial skill involved. This film was basically ninety minutes of unrelatable people doing very little to no obvious end. I found little to like in the characters. One of the final scenes, involving a sports team and the lead character, was particularly disturbing, leading to an abrupt ending. Whether it was meant as literal or symbolic is up for interpretation. All in all, the actors did a decent job, but the story arc needed some retooling to give this film some life.

A dreary borefest

So, thirty something woman, possibly on the edge of some sort of existential crisis, spends most of the movie chasing younger men to bed them. This in itself may have some interesting storylines in it. However, this movie, then spends the vast majority of its runtime simply talking about 'stuff' to other people, both straight and gay and trans, and taking drugs and more talking.

I have no idea what was the point of the movie. The ending is one that will just leave you hanging.

It's not that the acting was particularly bad. It wasn't. The film is cheaply made and the sound makes all the actors sound like they are talking with their head in a bucket.

Avoid.
