The worst written film of 2025.

This was pretty boring...

Without ever having heard about this 2025 movie "The Vindicator", as I sat down to watch it here in 2026, I virtually had no idea what I was in for, aside from it being a horror movie and the little information provided by the synopsis. However, the mere fact that it was a horror movie that I hadn't already seen was more than sufficient for me to give the movie a fair chance.The storyline in the movie was rubbish. I struggled profoundly to find enjoyment in it, and the pacing was mundane and bland. There wasn't really much of anything interesting happening throughout the course of the movie, and thus writers Cameron Duckett and Luca Patruno didn't exactly deliver something wholesome here. I have to say that I am having issues with movies that focus around bloggers, vloggers, influencers and whatever these freeloaders call themselves, and their narcissistic need to film themselves. But luckily those scenes were not predominant in "The Vindicator".The acting performances in "The Vindicator" were good. While I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list, it was actually not something that was a hindrance to the movie. I do enjoy watching new and unfamiliar talents on the screen when I watch a movie.This was a swing and a miss, and definitely not a movie that I would recommend you to spend 89 minutes on watching. Nor is it a movie that I will ever return to watch a second time.My rating of directors Luca Patruno and Brandon Sherrill's 2025 movie "The Vindicator" lands on a rather generous three out of ten stars.
