I am the target audience

This was a fun little romp with lots of great dancing and Tai Chi. There's a large cast of characters and I enjoyed all their story arcs.It seems to me that perhaps this type of film has a very specific audience, and as someone who practices Tai Chi and loves dance competitions, perhaps I am that specific audience. I watched with my husband who also practices Tai Chi and loves dance competitions and we both found it inspiring and romantic.A fun way to spend the evening. Much great dancing.

Enjoyable and energising

This film tells the story of a young woman who pursues her dreams to dance, no matter what is in the way.When this film came out in Hong Kong, I remember rave reviews and good word of mouth. Now that I have finally seen it, I can see the positivity and inspirational elements which are quite needed by the society. The production is good, and the dances are really energetic too. I particularly like the end dance hen they incorporate traditional Chinese folk arts and Taichi into the dance. I enjoyed this energising film.
