Plot summary

Fun and well observed

Director Danny Patricks distinctive comedy parody uses a core of actors (inc himself, Richard Hawley, Jason Gerard and Baz Black, with newcomers Will the Farmer and Jessie Wynter) "The Film Festival is a small in-production film garnering unexpected awards buzz itself. Oh add colourful flavour of Coco Taylor, Melly Myers and Natasha Tosini - Winnie the Pooh... to another terrific comedy. You'll love this one.

Funny insight into Festivals

Coco Taylor's performance is a highlight, she brings charisma and a kind of comedic grounding to a chaotic ensemble. The film's satirical ambition is clear, and it does hit some of the right notes in mocking the indie-festival world. Although it might lean too much into caricature, and for some viewers, the payoff may not be strong enough to justify the meandering first hour. Production limitations are noticeable.Im my opinion it's not a "great" film in a traditional sense, but it's an interesting indie comedy that appeals to meta-filmmaking, satire, and niche, low-budget humour, especially if they can tolerate some rough edges.

What a Film! Loved it.

What a Film! Loved it.Danny Patrick certainly didn't disappoint.From the beginning until the end, the brilliance of the story brings you so many unexpected moments of pure humour.I absolutely adore all of the characters too, they are all so distinctive from each other with their little quirks.The cast is just brilliant.
