Existential,Narcissist Baloney - This is Not a Movie

Hackneyed, boring exploration of facing the last few hours of existence on earth before the bogeyman of a galactic disaster takes place, destroying all life on earth.Not very believable. Yeah, as a writer I get the message; I got it a long time ago before this film.However there is one major black hole in this movie; there is no protagonist. There is no one to root for. I was almost sympathetic to Peter Coyote's character, but he was so shallow, that I could not work myself up into anything but getting up to get another beer.I have always had the highest regard for Edward Furlong as a very good actor, but he is done in by Olallo Rubio failure as a writer and a director. Hopefully, Rubio will improve in one category or the other, but you don't get too many chances in Hollywood.The existential, narcissist baloney is just too mundane to sustain a full feature of an hour and change. It might have been ok for a half-hour anthology TV show, but not as a full-length feature film.Other than the script, the special effects are fun, but not all that effective, either. There is no concept of human love here. People need at least one person in the world to love; if not, they become like the people presented in this film; people who just love themselves.

Brave film

Creative, fun film. Furlong is a good actor. He does a great job, but do not want to spoil it.

Thought-provoking, stylish. Excellent soundtrack.
