The absolute worst piece of garbage I've ever seen

I'm convinced the leads were wannabe actors and their dads made this movie to soothe their egos. It's beyond bad. Like, so horribly, painfully bad, abrasive, amateurish and crappy that it's hard to describe in words. Of all the movies I've ever seen, this may be the one I hated most. The two leads cannot act. At all. Not even a little bit. The entire movie is just these two annoying brats yelling at each other about...nothing. Twenty minutes in you'll be praying that both of them are killed just to make it stop. And if anything, it's even worse than I'm describing. If there was a tenth circle of hell this would be playing on an endless loop, forever, and even then Satan would be wondering if maybe he'd gone too far with the whole torture for eternity thing.

Seriously?...

Sometimes you just got to stop up and take heed from the low rating that a movie has managed to score here on IMDb. However, I opt to give a movie the benefit of the doubt, especially if it is something I haven't already seen, or heard about.However, I found the movie's cover interesting enough, and since I hadn't already seen this movie, of course I opted to give it a chance.Writer and director Anubys Lopez, aside from having a really cool name, didn't manage to do much of anything noteworthy here with "Those Who Call". The storyline in the movie was rather simplistic, and it might actually have worked out more if the dialogue wasn't so insanely repetitive and the characters were so amazingly unlikeable.Actress Yetlanezi Rodriguez (playing Sandra) and Angie Sandoval (playing Ana) were given some very poorly written characters and dialogue to work with, and it just passed as being cringeworthy to watch the two characters bicker throughout the entire movie about how stupid their roadtrip was and how one doesn't have time for the other. And it was just like it was stuck in a loop, because the majority of the dialogue kept circling back to these topics.Visually then "Those Who Call" was an okay movie. I mean, you're certainly not in for a top of the line over-the-top special effects galore here, but whatever effects were in the movie played out well enough.If you enjoy horror movies, you need not waste your time, money or effort on "Those Who Call". Some of us did so you don't have to. Trust me, this movie isn't worth the effort.My rating of "Those Who Call" lands on a generous two out of ten stars.
