To the Meh...

"To The Moon" delivers a haunting atmosphere but it lacks the punch a horror film needs. The film itself has the perfect setup for a great story. Everything is there the mood, the pace, the visuals. But they never capitalize on any of it. I kept waiting for that moment where the hair on my neck would stand up, & it never came. It's almost like the movie was scared to actually scare you.Madeleine McClair who is absolutely gorgeous delivers a wonderful performance from the very first frame. She understood the assignment completely. Her husband, on the other hand, was tough to watch at times. His acting felt careless, low-energy, and unconvincing.But even with those issues, it's still a good watch. It's the kind of movie you can put on when you've got company over.

Kept me wondering

A refreshing and solid debut effort. I first saw Will Brill in The OA playing Scott Brown and he was great in To the Moon as Roger. I'd like to see more from Scott Friend.
