Plot summary

Mesut, a civil servant who returns his hometown to bury his mother, is dragged into by his younger brother Musa to a treasure hunt and finds himself tangled up with a murder.

Tried so hard to love it

I am already so sick of this maniacal behavior of non educated society. Everybody can kill each other so easily. No one tries to come clean by police. Yes there are really some people like this, indeed but society has to eliminate them. The movie, just tinkles your nerves a lot no comedy at all pure sick behavior nothing to like or watch. Serkan Keskin has a positive impact on the society or had, this movie challenges that picture i am so surprised that he accepted such a role all his movies he was rough but a good guy inside here just a maniac and surely will have negative impact on his career. Some can think it is just a role but that is not working like that on society, if you become the bad guy you stay bad guy. Hasibe Eren experienced actress tried her best positive, Caglar Corumlu tried his best again and again but it wasn't enough. Sukran Ovali it was really hard to stand your acting, there is a difference between acting a crazy person and someone with pain, suffering and anger. Your eyes were the problem. I can bare it. Really bad guys. Really really bad. I wont even thank for the effort.

Absurd but not comedy

This film is another BKM failure. This is not absurd comedy. This is absurd drama if I must name a genre.The film falls far short of expectations due to its cliche and inadequate script and the director's inability to bring out a new perspective. While some may argue that absurdity is a matter of personal taste, it is difficult to overlook the blatant lack of effort and skill evident in this cinematic misadventure.In the end, I can say with that poor execution and (?) scenario this film fails to meet even normal standards. It is a reality that if you are in the same creative area (istanbul bkm writers) you repeat yourself.

Nice Little Gem

While it may not be for everyone (especially the common Turkish audience who would regard this as a drama), this movie is a surprisingly good gem of an absurd comedy.The plot is decent, the acting is good, and so is the directing. Add the little touches like lace laid on a dormant television in the living room, and it is quite immersive as well!If you enjoy tales or instances of dark comedy, with an air of slight suspense, this film is for you. The rural setting and the frame plot of a family funeral does well to set up the story which unravels and snowballs into a somewhat predictable, but nonetheless enjoyable finale.
