Novel subject that gets lost in chaos

Watched this movie on Amazon Prime and felt that Kalaiarasan (the actor who plays the protagonist)is really being brave in choosing diverse roles nowadays.The story borrows heavily from "The Squid Game" theme and tries to replicate a game like scenario within a couple's own residence. The storyline had a lot of promise initially and the overall character development was above average. If someone were to watch this film, you will definitely not be interrupted by mindless songs as the plot unfolds at a quick pace and keeps you interested till the end though the climax was a bit of a disappointment but I would definitely not dismiss this as a horrible film.Kudos to Kalaiarasan and Priyalaya for keeping the film afloat with their characterization of a troubled couple trying to preserve their sanity amongst chaos.

The idea of social media influencers, the pervasiveness, the vanity, total lack of personal space and even identity and individuality (when you fake for your online audience you are almost playing a character for a movie 24/7 - your real self - it is alive anymore ?)All these are compelling, needs serious thoughts - but the story though starts along these lines - but veers quite messily into rather shallow waters quickly - not really doing justice to any of these pressing questions.The whole thriller segue was not convincing and seemed not well paced (especially towards climax)All in, hope this thread may be taken up by someone more capable - as it is - you can give this a miss.

Good Concept Needs Stronger Screenplay

Good concept, but the screenplay isn't strong - it could have been done better. Acting-wise, superb. You've conveyed a good social message, and for that, thanks to your team. Technically, the movie is okay. Once again, I'll say - only the screenplay could have been focused on more. All the best for your next project, guys.
