Average thriller

Just recently watched this one on Tubi Tv and it was decent.I think it was a bold choice have Drew Sidora play both of the twins which she handled quite well in fact.Dont be put off by the confusion through the movie, the plot lines up pretty nicely by the end. Nothing more than an average stolen identity thriller.I will say they could have possibly left this one ope for a sequel since it doesnt really show which twin survives the fight at the end.

I actually enjoyed this film, it needed time to progress, but it was good

Twin is one of those rare Tubi finds that manages to rise above the platform's usual expectations, delivering a psychological thriller that's far more engaging than anticipated. While Tubi is often associated with low-budget, forgettable content, this film surprises by leaning into a darker, more unsettling concept that actually commits to its chaos rather than softening it.The story centers on identical twin sisters who are essentially strangers to one another. What unfolds is not a lighthearted switch or a feel-good reunion, but something far more twisted. The film plays with the idea of identity, deception, and instability, constantly keeping the audience guessing about what is real, what is intentional, and whether a "switch" has even truly occurred at all. That ambiguity becomes one of the film's most effective tools.Tonally, Twin embraces psychological discomfort. The sisters don't uplift or save one another; instead, they dismantle each other's lives in ways that feel chaotic, obsessive, and borderline psychotic. This isn't a story about sisterly bonding, but about intrusion, control, and unraveling identity. The film understands that darkness and leans into it without apology. The screenplay is undeniably flawed. It's wonky in places, underexplained in others, and clearly needed more time to flesh out its ideas. Certain motivations and plot turns feel rushed, and the story would have benefited greatly from additional detail and breathing room. The film also feels shorter than it should be, cutting off just as it seems ready to dig deeper.Where the film truly succeeds is its lead performance. The main actress carries the entire experience, convincingly portraying two distinct characters to the point where it genuinely feels like separate performances. Her ability to shift mannerisms, energy, and emotional tone sells the illusion completely, making the chaos believable even when the script wobbles. The supporting cast, by contrast, feels underdeveloped and largely forgettable, serving more as background than fully realized characters.Despite its shortcomings, Twin works because it commits to its premise and delivers a central performance strong enough to hold everything together. It's not perfect, and it's far from polished, but it's tense, unpredictable, and genuinely entertaining. Most surprisingly, it's a Tubi film that actually leaves an impression. With more time, detail, and depth, it could have been something truly standout, but even as it is, Twin is a psychological thriller worth watching and an easy recommendation for fans of dark, identity-driven stories.

Timeline??

Im just a little confused about the timeline. It said that justine killed her husband in 2015 but then when shes let out, presumably in 2025, it would have only been ten years that she spent in prison but then they say that she spent 20 years in prison?? Could someone clear this up? Do I have the dates wrong maybe?
