Plot summary

A comedy-adventure in which three twelve-year-olds have a close encounter with a 3,000-year-old mummy. Marshall, Gilbert and Amy accidentally set the mummy free, but if they don't get him back to his resting place by midnight on Halloween, he'll turn into dust and lose his only chance of being reunited with his long-lost love.

Is this a Mummy? No, this is Harold.

A Halloween classic. It's tragic that this isn't on Disney+. The score to this movie is phenomenal, especially when they are saying goodbye to Harold. It's up there with "Test Drive", "He's a Pirate" and "Time".Good thing the full movie is on YouTube.Best Character: Harold Best Quote: "I don't wear pajamas, I sleep in the nude." - Amy Best Scene: Saying Goodbye.Note: Amy is hilarious. She has some really witty one-liners.Note 2: The fact that Harold is voiced by Patrick Star is amazing! Once you hear it, you can't un-hear it.

A Bit Underwhelming

Here we have what's considered to be the first ever DCOM. It's 25 years old at the time of this review, and it shows a bit. While Scream Team is full of clever jokes and fun characters, Under Wraps takes a more slapstick approach with its comedy. With the emphasis being on the mummy's wandering about in the modern world, every other aspect of the storyline feels like a side story. On a positive note, the kids have great chemistry with each other and their acting performances are excellent. But much of what we're given here feels like something we've seen elsewhere. It's just entertaining enough but not too thrilling.
