Fighting in the games.

Im a big fan of Madalena Alberto. So anything thats shes in I will watch even if its films like this that I wouldnt normaly watch.Im not into Viking films so not really sure about how to judge the story. Of course she was amazing as usual. She shines in every one of her scenes. Her heartbreak and trauma her character goes through is so hard to take and she pulls it off beautifully. First time I believe that she has done a sword fight scene and it was so good.I was able to follow the story. Its two warring familys. The two feuding families, one of them are into bloodthirsty fighting games and the other just want to be left in peace.One ends up trying to hunt down the other. I liked the main guy and his brother was funny.I stuck it out until the end. I feel it was a good film but it could have been better. There was some dialogue from some of the characters I couldnt follow so skiped some bits.

Vikings

Took a chance on this after seeing some good reviews.To be fair it starts well with great visuals and great soundtrack. Then that first fight scene falls apart, felt a bit like some pro wrestling when you can tell that the punches don't land.Nearly gave up on the whole film but I did continue to watch and things did get better thankfully.Whoever did the music for this film did a fantastic job, I could listen to this on its own.There was on scene in this that the acting was really bad where the young Viking was talking about revenge but I had to put on the subtitles as I couldn't understand what he was saying, it was some think fake Norwegian accent.Not all the acting was bad, the main guy was fantastic and the leading lady steals every scene she's in.I'm sure I saw one of the Vikings with trainers on. If they cared about film making then someone should have spotted that.Overall, this is watchable with some good moments and fights.
