Could have been so much more...

This movie could have been so great. The idea is so interesting, and the movie contains seveal very interesting scenes and thematics. Sadly, many characters are wasted and it feels awfully rushed. Some scenes, could have been so deep and emotional with better writing. I enjoyed both Nikolaj Lie Kaas and Albert rudbecks acting, altough we sadly barely got to see any of albert, such a shame, since i would have loved to have gained a deeper connection to the character and to the relation with the father. The movie is too short, and lacks a whole lot of buildup, many of the scenes also fall incredibly short compared to where they could have ended. I really loved the cinematography, one of the best visually looking danish movies ive ever scene. Im severely in doubt wether to give it 5 or 6 stars, and i think ill have to watch it again in order to know for sure, but that definitely wnt be an issue, since i like this movie quite a bit, and it actually moved me emotionally for sure. It just could have been so much more and felt quite messy. A mediocre/good movie that without a doubt could have been great if it had been executed better. Still worth watching.
