Slow paced, dull and boring...

Needless to say that I had, of course, not even heard about this 2025 drama titled "What About Your Friends?", from director Wil Lewis, prior to stumbling upon it by random chance. And with it being a movie that I hadn't already seen, nor ever actually heard about, of course I opted to give the movie a fair chance and the benefit of the doubt.And with the movie essentially starting out with a lewd solo scene in the shower, pretty much set the bar rather low for my expectations of the rest of the movie.Writers Cecily Gooden and Wil Lewis put together a script and storyline that fell very short of entertaining me. It was simply put a too sluggishly paced story, and I didn't really care one bit about the characters or the events that transpired during the course of the narrative. In fact, the movie was so boring that I tossed the towel in the ring and gave up after 34 minutes. And I had actually also dosed off to Slumberland once during those prolonged 34 minutes of boredom.I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. Not that it was a bad thing. The acting performances in the movie were fair.This was certainly not my kind of movie, and it is not a movie that I will be returning to attempt finish watching.My rating of director Wil Lewis's 2025 movie "What About Your Friends?" lands on a rather generous three out of ten stars, based mostly on the acting performances.

The Tea is CLOCKING

This movie calls you back in for a sip of steaming hot tea, one after the other. The story has multiple twists and turns- and I just have to say, I'm here for the drama! Very messy, yet dynamic characters. And also very relatable... (clears throat) anyway! Enjoy. But probably alone. Because just like all this mess, you and your friends will have a lot to clock with this tea.
