This film tells the story of a young man who is sentenced to a correctional facility in Hong Kong because he attacked a policeman.The trailer was very interesting, but the actual story wasn't that engaging. The mistreatment of inmates were horrible, but that was really the only thing that was keeping the film going. The mistreatments were portrayed in a matter of fact manner, with little psychological portrayal. Even the subplot about the righteous officer feels contrived. I had high hopes but was left a little disappointed. It's nowhere as captivating as "Midnight Express"
