A beautiful journey of life

The film was made by Vietnamese director Victor Vu. A film is all about the stories in a small Vietnamese village. The film bring the viewer a gentle feeling. I was strongly affected by the green grass scenes of the countryside, the folk music and the characters. They remind me about every beautiful things in my childhood, those boys who has no reason but fighting each others, our first love,.... Three kids have their own characters but still innocent and full of love. The most favorite scenes of mine is Thieu holds the frog,cries and runs in the rain in slow motion. But the stories has nothing special. In fact, there has unconnected movie script, makes me feel something was missing. But it still a good movie to relax.

a lightly romantic movie for teenager

It is not for people, who love action movie. The movie is really slow and try to express the change in teenager's emotion for their first love. In addition, the movie express the strong bond between brothers in family.

Amazing!

I see about 6-7 movies in the cinema a year but the first standing ovation I gave, was in, was this film. I don't know why but i cried for this movie.Love, the main message of the film, was not evident in the lines or even clear action. But to search, to pay attention, to feel, you can not see. It's like a warm glow but just peeks out from behind a mesh screen, the poverty, the mature emotions surface disturbance, or even acts of Shaoguan lead to serious consequences. Many blame Thieu for "morsel of food" that hit me, but did not mean to eat pieces? Like shown excellence of Vinh Thinh, if you smile they will see the tenderness and innocence, but his eyes are sharp anger fascinated, in Thieu is a collection of numerous conflicting emotions. Are only from love. Thieu would not hate it if people can see when you have touched only bruising to bring two potatoes on the walls and plum.
