Assinine fun.

Noboru Iguchi's Toilet of the Dead is a scathing critique of Japan's westernisation and gradual loss of cultural identity. Nah, I'm just kidding... part scatalogical horror and part live-action hentai, it's actually a cartoonish over-the-top slice of puerile insanity from director Noboru Iguchi, the man behind equally deranged movies Machine Girl, Robo-geisha and Dead Sushi. If you have one half of your mind in the gutter and the other half in the toilet, then this film will no doubt prove very enjoyable: it's chock full of pretty Japanese women, nudity, outrageous gore, and loads of faeces and flatulence gags. And there's absolutely zero in the way of subtext or social commentary to spoil things.The plot sees a mad scientist treating his seriously ill daughter with parasites that dissolve the white blood cells that have caused her condition. In order to ensure a continuous supply of the disgusting wormlike critters, the scientist uses people as hosts, turning them into zombies in the process. While on a camping trip, schoolgirl Megumi (Arisa Nakamura) and her friends encounter the crazed doctor, his zombies and their nasty brain-eating parasites.If the sight of human waste, vomit, blood, and slimy thrashing worms emerging from backsides upsets you, then it goes without saying to give this film a wide berth: it's a messy movie that is proud to be in the worst possible taste. If, however, you enjoy your movies audacious, excessively bloody and just plain daft, Toilet of the Dead will do the trick.

The funk is in the story received.

This movie was definitely created. Just make sure that if you watch this movie, you have a tab open with hardcore porn, so if anyone accidentally opens your door while watching, you have something to switch to.I'm not sure what I expected based on the title, but somehow it wasn't this. Should have been, but I swear I didn't. My bad. It probably didn't help that the sub was translated from German with Google Translate. In conclusion, my fart is a jet engine.

Perfect group watch-for the right group

I almost didn't watch this, although I was on a rabbit hole binge set up by needing to confirm how bad "Forbidden Zone" really was. Eventually, I arrived at this absolute corker of a bad but hilarious movie suitable for a group watch-a group not repulsed by special effects involving zombies, large parasitic worms and just the right amount of crap. They should probably be a little drunk. My rating is a combination of 5 stars for the actual movie quality and 8 stars for the experience of watching it with the right group of friends. You know: people who enjoy screaming in disgusted laughter together.
