A Competent, if Derivative, Exercise in Corporate Malfeasance

While "267" lacks the kinetic precision of Soderbergh, it manages a certain brutalist elegance. The script's flirtation with pharmaceutical jargon is admittedly indulgent, yet the lead performances elevate what could have been pedestrian melodrama into a taut, albeit grey, character study. It is refreshingly devoid of the "blockbuster bloat" currently infecting cinema, even if its third-act revelations feel somewhat telegraphed. A minor triumph of substance over spectacle.

Intriguing Movie

Lots of reality to modern day concerns and questions in conspiracies and questionable tactics. Great imagery and filmmaking in general. Action scenes are top level. Several stories going on at once that have great build and tie in at the end and climax.Watch Rancor first so the anticipation will be there when you dive into this storyline. Great job!!

Refreshing

"267" is a refreshing take on the corrupt business thriller trope. It chooses substance and development over explosions and infinite amounts of pointless dialogue. The action sequences are harder hitting and more impactful than most modern action thrillers, while also staying more realistic.There are couple different story lines happening at once and the pacing keeps it all fresh in your mind and never becomes confusing. I would recommend watching Rancor first, as this is its sequel, and while Rancor is also a great film this one's bigger budget shows in both its scenery and acting.The acting is top notch in this film, especially with the top billed actors. Characters Doctor Shaw, Raine, Erin, Brock, Wade, and Doctor West are played perfectly, with Raine giving my favorite performance in the film as th comedic relief.I think these lower budget indie films are just as good as anything we get from Hollywood, with less sus-ness and more heart. Definitely check out Rancor and 267 is you like thriller dramas!
