All right

The first and only Real One Entertainment TV movie as far as I know which not only takes place in NYC but it was actually shot there. In 9 out 10 cases it's Hamilton pretending to be NYC. I had hope that ROE would tone down overusage of stock footage because they don't have to fool viewers about location, but no, still too much NYC stock footage. There are few minor bad cuts. I personally didn't like music score. It's mostly jazz with some blues mix and similar. I understand rationale for it, and I didn't deduct score because of it.I never watched any cast member. I would say they did job fine. Hedy Nasser was convincing. Directing and writing were mostly all right. The family scene was epic and my personal favorite. My main issue is unrelatable female lead. Yea, Hedy played well and we found out why later in the movie why she acted like that, but still couldn't root for her, sorry. Also, Lisa, her roommate, was badly underutilized. She could be deleted easily from the movie, and basically nothing would change. It's overall watchable TV romance movie. Two stars deducted for overused stock footage and not so much relatable female lead.
