Enjoyed the Film!

I have to admit, there was some trepidation before watching this because the original Border remains one of my favourites. Definitely a little anxious with the way they would approach this film.Most of those fears were alleviated after the watch, very happy about that. The war set pieces, the action sequences, infantry, has been done excellently. The dialogues are powerful and strong, without being over the top (most of the times). I still prefer the songs from the original movie though, they were something magical, however, Border 2 does include some past nostalgia, which evokes those fond nostalgic memories.If I have to compare Border vs this film, I would say Border was probably more grounded, whereas this is more grandiose. Both have their own charms.Sunny Deol looks well even at this age, Diljit's performance isn't nuanced and comes off as trying too hard, Varun gives a very decent showing surprisingly. Few little flaws are present in the narrative screenplay (a little uneven storytelling), and definitely, the editing (we could have a much crisper film with the "meh" parts removed). Having a runtime of 2 hours 30 mins would serve this film quite well than a 3 hour+ behemoth. Still, a worthy watch overall- 6.5 ⭐/10.

Loved the movie

The movie starts and finishes with a bang. A must watch and a movie that will definitely be loved by most people. It beautifully depicts the story and its direction well.Sunny Deol was the star of the show. Others like Varun, Diljit and Ahan played a good role too.I feel the movie could have included some more details and could have potentially been divided into 2 parts.Overall though I really liked the movie.

Loved the movie... Border 2

This movie is a sequel to Border and trust me this one is going to be to a blockbuster. The cast has done their job so well that I got immersed in this movie. The scenes were so real that when the war scenes were playing it felt as if I am watching it live. A big salute to Sunny Pa ji who is absolutely outstanding in this movie.please don't compare the original one with this one as both of them has their own story and way of narrating the story is different. VFX and music is also is of very high level. Original "Sandese aate hain" is added with new flavour and is presented so well. The ending touched my heart and saying anything would be like giving spoilers. Please watch it in theaters and enjoy the beautiful movie.
