Plot summary

When Martin (Antonio Sabato Jr.), a brilliant but failing engineer, creates an infinite power source that causes Bob (Marshall Fox), an oddball space alien, to crash land on Earth, the two form a comedic alliance in their quest to get Bob home.

Carolina Calling - sorry wrong number

Yes it is a low budget indie pic and thoughts some of the comedy was interesting but the two female characters seem to be overly animated and over acting with awful southern accents. The over acting seems intentional but the lead male played the role fairly straight. I found it very annoying. There was little chemistry between the characters.The movie spent a lot of time supposedly trying to do character development between the scenes that actually developed the plot. It came across as padding.If the movie had the same comedic tone as toward the end with the alien, it would have been a lot better but the script/plot did not have it.

CUTE ENOUGH INDIE FILM

The last two negative reviews seem a little over the top!!Obviously Carolina's Calling is a lower budget, Indie film, nothing more, nothing less. With that in mind, it's a cute enough film, you'll get a few laughs!!
