Better than expected..

Which isn't saying much, it was watchable, but 5 is as high as I could rate it.It's fairly obvious what the 'twist' is going to be, but it doesn't move too slowly so it's a watchable film, but it shouldn't be winning any awards - it's a passable made-for-tv film.I don't want to be u kind, but I have to be honest, I've been more emotionally invested in a department store Christmas advert than this story. It does deal with some (1) fairly serious subject matter, but there is nothing much to rave about.The cottage looked lovely, exterior footage, although pretty sure it was filmed in the cottage too, not much studio work, other than than the office scenes.

Took Me By Surprise!

I took a chance watching this film and I'm glad I did. I pride myself on seeing things coming, yet didn't see the clever ending coming here. Watch blind and with an open mind, you'll appreciate it better. This film could have fit well as a stand-alone Black Mirror story, and I mean that as a compliment.

Really good!

This film made my jaw, literally, drop. Georgia Conlan, I would have given you a standing ovation if this was a play. Amazing performance!The acting throughout the film was fantastic. I had become a bit blasé towards British films in the past year or two, but this has given me renewed appreciation. The story was gripping, stay with it. I would compare it to others films, some spring to mind, but I feel any link would take away from this film before you watch it. Just go into it blind if you can.Sometimes it's a hard watch, given subject matter, but it delivers. Emotional and gripping. Highly recommended!
