Intimate high stakes drama

It's gorgeous, it's emotional, and it doesn't sugarcoat how hard a cheetah's life is. If you want something that looks incredible on a big screen but still has a soul, this is it.Instead of just showing "fast cats chasing things," it follows two specific stories that make you actually care: The Single Mom: You see a mother cheetah trying to raise two tiny cubs in a world where almost none of them survive. It's stressful, beautiful, and deeply relatable if you've ever felt overwhelmed. The "Bro" Squad: A group of three young males who have to learn to hunt as a team. Watching their coordination (and their occasional failures) feels very much like watching a group of friends trying to figure out adult life.

Baby cheetahs, popular media

I was (am) a huge fan of nature programming, love learning about animals, documentaries. Love them. Until recently. Now the subject of so much popular programming, people swarming to live vicariously, Safari business going wild. And you have to wonder, these millions of people love to blame theories, such as global warming... It came to mind specifically when the narrators talk about 95% of Cheetah babies don't make it... Cheetah moms must keep them hidden.. So there they are with cameras pointing right at them, drones flying over. Yeah that helps folks. Helps the whole system. You can point your finger at theories all you want, but this media craze, hundreds of trucks and cameras, safaris with idiots wearing New Balance and sketchers running around the big game thinking they're cool (and brave). I can promise you that's done as much to hurt that ecosystem as anything else.

Cheetahs Up Close with Bertie Gregory

An entertaining documentary where nature is the protagonist and reflects the importance of survival with a remarkable approach."Cheetahs Up Close with Bertie Gregory" is a pleasant experience for those nature and wildlife fans. It is a small window that encourages the experience of cheetahs in a chaotic season, thus questioning their survival and struggle with other animals. This small documentary is fun, fluent and always maintains that connection with the viewer. He doesn't feel saturated with content and gets to the point of what he wants to convey. It has a quite formidable edition, good sound, a super notorious image quality, a memorable photograph and a great variety of images that dazzle at all times. It's 44 recharged minutes of life, energy and fun moments. Everything related to its production and the creativity of those involved speaks for itself. Everywhere, the handling and camera focuses are wonderful. It is a documentary that fulfills its purpose and when you least expect it, it ends. The way in which nature steals the screen is an example of good direction and capture of love by it. All this fluidity between images full of life and the different locations bring a decent development to the documentary, which is why it can be called attractive and entertaining at the same time.On the other hand, it gives crucial information about the lovers of these felines, which bring a quite curious professionalism to the camera. However, it also indicates the weaknesses and disadvantages involved in different risk situations, emphasizing a landscape of survival and pursuit of growth in the face of adversity. The documentary covers reflective topics such as good parenting, teaching to defend oneself, mother's love, teamwork, animal weaknesses, creativity, lack of experience, survival as a main axis, versatility, growth, the training, and the rise that humans have in nature environments.7.5/10.
