The fact that I had indeed never even heard about this movie prior to getting the chance to sit down and watch it, hardly was a deterrent for me. I essentially watch just about anything I haven't already seen, and thus giving movies a fair chance.Writers Louis Rocky Bacigalupo and Matthew Luke Tucci failed to deliver a wholesome script that entertained me. The movie was frightfully devoid of comedy elements, and didn't exactly have a whole lot of horror elements to it either. So it was a bit of a swing and a miss.While I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list, I will say that the acting performances in the movie were adequate. I do enjoy watching new and unfamiliar talents on the screen.Visually, well "Cursed Hearse" wasn't exactly impressive. And it wasn't a movie that really utilized a lot of special effects anyway.Hardly a movie that I would recommend you to rush out and get to watch. Nor is it a movie that will ever grace my screen a second time.My rating of director Matthew Luke Tucci's 2026 horror comedy "Cursed Hearse" lands on a generous three out of ten stars.
