A must-watch indie film

I love when horror actually makes me think. And it's insane that this is based off of someone's real story! The pacing is good, the cinematography awesome, and the music is so creepy. The themes around faith and control hit hard. I wasn't expecting anything this good. And I always like betrayal/love stories mixed with horror. Such a good twist at the end. All around I really loved it! This is a great indie film! Support indie filmmakers!

Australian horror at its finest

It's crazy this was shot in Australia! The Utah-style landscapes and the set design, really amazing work. Everything felt so massive and cinematic. John Kim and Mia Challus were really great, but Elizabeth Cullen steals the show. Her screams were so epic in the theatre. The blend of folklore, religion, and psychological horror makes this one of the most original horror films I've seen in a long time. Also loved the creepy melody, original and so fitting!

Genuinely Terrifying

Diabolic was cool. Just a solid horror film overall. I'm a horror fan so I've seen a lot. The beginning was more like a drama but love the killings and gore at the end. This director is probably gonna be big. The main actress has a good horror scream too. She's really good for horror, the dunking water scene she nailed it. Cult movies hit so hard, and this one was spiritually and psychologically scary. I've never seen a Morman cult movie, there's nothing like it right now.
