Just ok with some issues

First thing, this movie is 90% subtitles. From the start I could tell this was an authentic Italian production as about 1/2 the cast from my brilliant friend was in it, so I was hoping it would be good, but it had some problems.The story concerns Mimosa (Rebecca Antonaci) who lives in post war Italy and loves movies. Long story short she ends up meeting her Hollywood heros one night when they take her along with them for a night out. Unfortunately they turn out to be pretty nasty people. The sheltered Mimosa spends the night pretty much trying not to get taken advantage of or otherwise and learns some life lessons.The ending was sort of silly and it would have been much better to see Mimosa return home. I also found it silly that Mimosa would willingly engage with Sean Lockwood (Joe Keery) given the time period and her obvious virginity. Does Hollywood remember there are consequences for women in this time period?

Transcendent Splendor

Finally Dawn is a masterclass in filmmaking, a truly refreshing and poetic cinematic experience. The cinematography and sound design were superb, creating a subtle yet immersive world that feels worlds away from the loud, cluttered noise of films like Babylon. While the period setting and studio life context are comparable, Finally Dawn is infinitely more interesting, defying conventional tropes to evolve like a dream on a magical summer evening in Rome. The actress who plays Mimosa, Rebecca Antonaci, is a revelation; her performance is pitch perfect and I sincerely hope to see her in more work. Lily James and Joe Keery were also pitch perfect in their respective parts. A must-see.

A magic trip

A piece of art. A dream becomes true. A magic door opens and you ve been transferred in a glamorous world. Lily's and Rebecca's acting with their eyes is superb and fascinating. They makes you breath more slowly. William is the driver to this magic trip.Amazing film with fantastic performances.Just a masterpiece.
