A little talent is more dangerous than no talent at all

Aspiration, ambition, and the underworld are where the art world and the underworld cross paths. And for Toni, its how he gets sucked into a life that becomes ever more difficult to extricate himself from.This movie was excellent! Its starts the way you'd imagine a movie about an aspiring artist would... leaving the small town of his youth to go to rome where he finds fortune and infamy as a forger. This sucks him into the criminal world and a roster of gangsters that not only expose him to the good life but also the brutality that reinforce that this real world plays for keeps.I don''t want to give anything away but the movie took some nice twists and turns. It had some filmic serendipities that, rather than distracting, only helped to reveal how our hero has led a charmed life on the periphery of legitimacy and criminality.I was sucked in and it held my attention the entire time. Disregard the low score, this is a nice pulpy italian gangster film with just enough heft to leave you satisfied.

Great characters

This movie had a lot of potencial with its characters but i feel like the plot was getting to complex for my taste...i left feeling like there was more to be done and said at the end about the main characters motivations and origins too...could have easily been a 2 or 3 episode series. I would recomed if you are looking to be intrigued.
